Need info about Athens-Crete by ferry

My family is planning a summer trip to Greece. I'd like some info on ferry lines between Athens and Crete, and a rough estimate of the travel time. Thanks, everybody!

Umm, politely, I suggest you use the search function. I don't know the answer but I do know the question has been asked dozens of times before.

Minoan Lines is the line I traveled. We took the overnight ferry, which left Piraeus (port of Athens) around 8 or 9 pm and arrived in Iraklio the next morning. I think we disembarked around 7 am. I was with a seminar group and we were housed in four-bunk cabins, which were perfectly fine.

Actually I did use the search function, but it wasn't turning up the specific info I needed, so thanks DejaVu!

Weadles

if you put the words "ferry" and "Chania" in the box, the top thread you will get is this one:-

By sheer chance it covers the Iraklion option
