Need hotel help for Nice area Please!

HELP! I'm trying to plan a long weekend in the Nice/Monaco area for Easter weekend, and am having troubles -- I know, I know, shoulda booked earlier.

I have a hotel in Nice for the night of Apr 11, but I was hoping to stay in Menton (or thereabouts) on Apr 9 and 10. The hotels I found in Menton are all booked. I then found a few B&B's that looked nice, but also booked. Right now, the only thing I'm finding are more hotels in Nice, which I guess will be alright, but since I'm already there one night, I was hoping to be closer to Menton/Monaco for the other 2.

If anyone has any ideas/suggesetions, please let me know!!

Thanks!
Mindy

The red Michelin guide lists these hotels in Menton--have you checked all of them?
Aiglon; Prince de Galles; Chambord; Méditerranée; Dauphin; Kyriad; Paris Rome; Orly; Amirauté.

Here are more in Menton from the Ulysses Guide: Le Mondial, Narev's Hotel, and the St-Michel.

Good luck.

Try this link, which lists many hotels in Menton: http://www.cote.azur.fr/hotels-ville...ce_lang_en.htm

Found on www.voila.fr search engine. Easiest if you read a little French.

Good luck and let us know if you succeed.

Thanks for the great info!!! I have made many phone calls, and the only hotels with rooms available are Royal Westminster, Chambord, and Kyriad. The Royal Westminster will not accept dogs, and since we might have to take ours with us, that rules them out. So between the Kyriad and the Chambord. Neither has any reviews that I can find. Anyone know of a good review site besides Trip Advisor? Has anyone stayed at either of these hotels????

Thanks!
Mindy
