Need Help with Rome Hotel

Please help with my confusion...I'm looking for a hotel in Rome near the Plaza Navona and Spagna in the range of 140-150 euros. I have several that I am looking at but would love some feedback on the Residenza Zardelli, Hotel Marcus, Relais Banchi Vecchi and any others that you could offer advice on....Will be going to Rome on Sept 8 and leaving on Sept 12 to go further south.

Thanks.

HI
If no one chimes in here, and you don't find these in listings by clicking at the top of this screen on Hotels, then check tripadvisor.com
If you can't find positive comments anywhere, I'd look into alternatives--no need to go in blind.

Is your price for a single or double room?

You may want to try the Hotel San Carlo, located just a few steps away from Piazza di Spagna. Also, I would suggest for availability and pricing info, that you check out www.venere.com, and the hotel information that comes up will show the neighborhood. There's usually a link so you can contact the hotel directly, and I've found that's the best thing to do. In the case of the San Carlo, my experience has been they respond most rapidly to faxes; specify on the fax that they should confirm with you via your e-mail address, and list that, and they usually e-mail you within 24 hours.

Buon Viaggio,
BC

Here are a few names to get you started. You will find reviews on them here and at tripadvisor.com.

Pantheon: Santa Chiara (maybe too high)
Sp. Steps: Hotel Panda (maybe too low-end)
Trevi Fountain: B&B Fellini, Hotel Julia or Domus Julia.

Unfortunately, you're going at the height of the high season. So you'll need to get a move on.

I think I remember seeing comments in this forum on Residenza ZanARdelli and Relais Banchi Vecchi.

Type the names into the search box to find the comments.
