Need Help getting a Hotel in London
We are trying to get a good price for a hotel in London for April 14-18 and I have tried to get to the Biddingfortravel site to get a little Priceline help, but it is not opening up. Seems like someone mentioned another site that is similar to biddingfortravel.
Also would welcome your recommendations for a London hotel somewhere in the Soho/West End districts (Priceline's maps) in the $100-$125 a night range for a twin or double. Thanks.

It seems to be working fine now.. You might also try betterbidding.com.
Don't know of any place in the West End for that price without Priceline - I think you would have to go considerably farther from the center.

You aren't crazy - lots of folks can't access BFT directly -- maybe it is a browser issue.
I have to access it through the ezboard url.

Hi!
I am going to london in May and got a decent deal with British Airways.....(From philadelphia, US). 3 nights hotel and return air tickets for 2- $1500. It's not a bad deal....especially the hotel is in Soho/Oxford area....and is called St. Giles. I think their site is www.stgiles.com.....even if you dont go through british airways, their prices arent too bad. Check them out

You're not alone on the biddingforth situation. I am trying to find info about the JARVIS KENSINGTON HOTEL..possibly in "Queensgate" wherever that is...and it could be in the Ramada chain.
Anyone please? How many stars, location, proximity to sights, etc. Thanks.

Ramada Jarvis is apparently the name of a hotel group and they have their own web site
http://www.ramadajarvis.co.uk/
Surprisingly, that particular location doesn't appear to be on it but is on other sites that say it is a 3*. That looks about right.
Here's one with some photos

Queens Gate is a major street leading from Kensington Gardens down to South Kensington area and is quite nice.
