I've only stayed at the Laragh House in Kilkenny. It was very nice. The rooms were very comfortable and the food was quite good. It is a "quick pick" from Michele Erdwig (irelandyes.com) and her suggestions are always spot on.

I second on the Laragh House - lovely, nice proximity to downtown - about a 12-15 min walk so it is quiet at night since it's not on the main streets of town. Lovely, stylish place. You'll like it.

Laragh House is a very nice guest house. For a B&B I like Alcantra.

In Letterkenny try Glenrowan. It is a wonderful new B&B.

We have hundreds of hotels and B&B's on our site, listed by county and village.

Feel free to look around.

Have fun,
