Need a Frankfurt airport hotel

We are returning a rental car in early December to the Frankfurt Airport and flying back to Canada the next morning. We need a hotel near or at the airport that is convenient to the rental returns and hopefully offers a shuttle. Maybe in the $ 100 - $ 150 range. Any suggestions ??

The IBIS Hotel near the airport has a regular free shuttle and is within your price range. It can be contacted via the Accor website.

We stayed at the Steigenberger hotel at the airport. They had a shuttle and it picked us up at the airport and then took us back in the morning.

I had bid the hotel on Priceline before I left the states. Price was well under $100.

Hi galiano - I booked a no-refund, no-change, etc. room at the Ibis in Kelsterbach for 49 E via their online website. We've stayed there in the past and it's fine, no frills but it's clean and the price is right. We fly into and out of Frankfurt frequently and also have a somewhat early flight back to the States (10:00 ish) so we usually arrive at Frankfurt airport around 6:00 p.m., return our rental car and go inside and check our bags for our flight the next morning then take the Ibis shuttle to the hotel for the night. Next morning again take the shuttle to the airport with only our carry on bags and since we have our boarding passes issued the previous evening we continue on thru security and go to the gate. This works well if you fly Lufthansa from Frankfurt as they allow you to check in from 6:00 p.m. on the evening before your flight the next day, I think there is a cut off time tho, your flight must leave by 1:00 p.m.

Sorry to be so wordy but don't know which airline you'll be flying to Canada and not sure if other airlines do like Lufthansa.

Here is the website:

http://www.ibishotel.com/gb/hotel-22...rt/index.shtml

Good luck,
Susan

Hey great replies. Thank you all for your help.

We'll have a look at websites for the Ibis, Tanne, and Steigenberger to see what fits.

BTW we are flying Lufthansa and we only travel with carry on luggage, which is sooo much easier.

Happy travels to you all.
