Naxos restaurant recommendations

Hi!!

what are your favorite places to eat in Naxos? My husband and I will be there for 5 days in August and I have no idea where to go!

Here are my TA reviews (under KJA3) of 3 restaurants at which I dined in Naxos town in 2017. Current reviews seem reasonably similar to mine, but you should (of course) check.

Ammos Seafood and More
"I ate dinner 1 night at Ammos in mid-May, and OMG, those stuffed calamari were worth remembering! Filled with potato and tomato and I don’t know what all, they were absolutely delicious. I had them with a “small” Greek salad (which was, of course, huge), a glass of white wine, and some bread, all for about 23 euro. Sooooo tasty!"

Nostimon Hellas:
"I ate dinner at Nostimon Hellas 1 night in mid-May, and was glad I did! I began with a refreshing salad of arugula, Naxos Gruyere, orange, tomato, and other goodies and then turned to a chicken entrée that involved some citron and bacon, served with mashed potatoes and zucchini. Very, very good! With two glasses of white wine, water, and bread, the meal came to 26 euros. I was treated to a taste of a very rich chocolate cake with a bit of gelato and a delicious drizzle. I thought the setting very pleasant – I was in a shady outdoor corner – and the service was friendly, attentive, and responsive."

Meze2
"I ate dinner at Meze2 one night in mid-May. My cheese croquettes were tasty, but I was less satifisfied with the horta, which were overcooked, IMO. And to my surprise, I thought the house white wine undrinkable, something I didn’t experience anywhere else in Greece, where I generally found the wines to be quite delightful. With bread, I paid about 15 euro. The best part of the meal was the complimentary treat of yogurt with apricots (really good!) and a bit of honey-flavored retsina."
