Naxos ... Book now or book later.

We're going to Naxos in early September 2017 and are wondering whether we should book accommodations now or whether to wait a bit. We've been contacting hotels and rates seem rather high. We don't know where exactly we want to stay yet, and we don't want to overpay.

For example, I contacted Nissaki Beach Hotel and they quoted me 380 euros per night for a triple (for our family of four, all members disclosed).. Sadly that's above our budget.

Any chance prices get lower the closer we get to travel?

Wow.. I wouldn't pay that much.. and no.. most hotels are not that pricey.. ouch.
We paid 115 euros for a room that had a queen bed in it.. and an ante room that had two single beds in it. tvs in both rooms. BTW.. the price we paid was low season since we went last May. September I would expect to pay more.

Top floor of the Kymata hotel.. amazing deck and views.. two minutes to beach 5 to town.. loved it. no pool however.there are only two of these top floor suites left that sleep four..

Booking later will not help you out .. September is still a super popular month and your choices will only go down..

I cant believe that price. .is that for real..

Look on booking.com.. they have your hotel.. pricey 5 star.. but they also list many other good choices.. going to Greece isn't about pricey 5 star hotels.. especially not on an island like Naxos.. go for the authentic experience.

Checked random dates of Sept7-10 and Kymata prices out about 700 dollars cheaper.. but if you look at customer satisfaction rating its 9.3 , the Nissika is 9.5.. so not that much more for the money.. it does have a pool though.. but seriously you are on a great beach with awesome water..

Sorry .. should read it "DOESNT have " a pool.

And in case I wasn't clear.. no chance at all of prices going down for early September..
