No worries annhig, I knew you were continuing the cider sampling tradition in Brittany.

Lol fra_diavolo, that would probably be me with the cider -- dry, not THAT dry!

"Ah, you're used to factory cider," he said. "I know what you want." He then blended us a gallon of deliciously balanced cider. Would love to go back!>>

when I was at uni in Bristol in the 70s, a popular drinking spot with us more discerning students was the Coronation Tap in Clifton. At the time they sold only 3 sorts of cider - dry, sweet and mix. now they seem to have a much wider range, though whether they are any better that what we used to drink remains to be seen:

All sort of goodies for the planner of a trip to the region.

Must have gained quite a bit of weight. All that cider could not have been very healthy.

Was expecting some decent info on friend in Carwall, like what she wore, physical characteristics, demeanor, legal stuff and views on American elections and/or tourists. But I was disappointed.

If I ever get there, I will make up (for it)

Thanks Toucan2 for sharing so much.

This was a fun and informative read. Though I did do a double take, as I wondered what Meatloaf was doing playing at a tiny seaside theatre in Cornwall. All was soon explained...

Loved your report! We were surprised to discover Law and Order UK last year too. I'm another cider fan so I'm taking notes on everyone's recommendations.

Thank you lovs2travel and travelgirl2.

I have tried to continue the great cider tour here but all that ever seems to be on the menu is Angry Orchard. I like Angry Orchard but would love to try some more types here in the US.

I did have some hot apple cider Saturday because it was cold and windy. The soft type though
