Must-sees on Malta?

Hi guys, have you been to Malta? What are the absolute must-sees? Anything in terms of architecture, beach, activities would be great.. especially off-the-beaten path things.

Also, if you know some resources to activities with locals, that would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Are you taking a trip there or stopping by on a cruise? We were there for just a day - the cathedral in Valleta is wonderful. Some of our friends used a group - Tours by Locals- to explore more of the island - you might want to check out what they have to offer for your visit.

Thanks, guys.. definitely planning to stay a couple of days. At least a week or so.

If you also have any recommendations about places to stay, let me know!

With a week you can see just about everything. I would stay a few days on Gozo and the rest on Malta. Where to stay depends on your transport and what you wish to do at night, but distances are small. Make sure to reserve for the Hypogeum if you wish to see it: http://heritagemalta.org/museums-sit...ieni-hypogeum/
