Must have items to bring back from Greece?

I did text search on this topic & nothing came up. What items would be considered things that are unique to Greece & should be purchased there? Things that are for myself as well as gifts.

How about some wine local to the areas you visit as well as oil and olives. I usually buy at least one item of jewlery. When I got married I was given some beautiful Byzantine Icons. There is also nice bath and aromatherapy products being made in Greece. I may also bring home some baklava this trip.

honey; olive oil; religious souviners; lace and wine and the memory of the beautiful Greek Isalands and the medatatanine sea.

My daughter and several friends went last year for 12 days. She brought back linens (which she said was an excellent choice, since they pack so easily) but PLEASE bring Olive Oil, it is fantastic! Try to find "hand" embroidered pillows of Greece street scenes, we have two and they are very unique and quite conversation pieces. Have fun as she did!

Gold jewlery. I love the modern designs of Greek jewlery. Crosses, rings and necklaces are great choices and the jewlery stores are plentiful.
