Museum of London
About how long would it take to get a good overview of the Museum of London? I realize that everyone's opinion on the perfect amount of time will vary, but I was just trying to get a decent estimate so I don't "over pack" our itinerary. I have visited the website, but wasn't overly thrilled with it. Is it a large museum? Thanks so much!

I agree--an hour, maybe two is reasonable for this interesting musuem.
Museum of London makes a good rainy-day venue. It is enjoyable for families and terrific for those interested in archeology and history of the city.

We spent an hour on the first part of the first floor. Guess it depends why you are going. The display cases are packed full of interesting things to see, if you 'skim' by them you could do it two hours. But what's the point? Why not spend the time doing something you really want to do.

This is clearly quite variable -- I would have said two hours minimum even for a brief skim. I love this museum, think it's very good. Last time I was there, I think I only spent two hours there because I had to go to the theater or something and was sorry I did not have enough time to see more that I wanted.
