Musee de l'Orangerie, Paris

We are going to Paris on Sunday 18 March 2007 and will be there for four days and nights. Is this museum open now?

Thank you.

Museum cards not accepted here nor at the neighboring Jeu de Pomme.

I am confused posted here about using my museum card at Musee de l'Oragerie and they replys were it was accepted. I am leaving on March 20th for 4 days, and I was planning on using my museum cards. Did something change?

Yes, your pass is good for the Orangerie.
PalenQ must have been looking at the Museum Pass website which still list the Orangerie as closed for renovation. I think they need a little update there!

It might be our uncanny resemblance to Angelina and Brad, but on the afternoon of December 23rd, 2006, Tracy and I used our museum pass here with no problem.

It - Orangerie - was not listed on the paper i got with my pass a month ago - and now i'm pissed because i would have gone to it if i had known it was.

I went to the nearby Jeu de Pomme and they said no to my pass but i didn't actually try to use it at the Orangerie - oh well next time.

Note that the paper with the museum pass also said that the Jeu de Pomme was closed but was listed on the pass museums which led me to believe it would be valid there. but definitely the ticket taker said it was not.

The paper with the museum pass that we got last month also did not show Musee de l'Orangerie as open, but we knew it was open. Glad we had the museum pass because there was a very long line when we visited. Also the Eugene Delacroix Museum is listed on the pass. We walked over to it and there was a sign on the door that it was closed for several weeks. We ended up not trusting the pass info and calling the various museums for opening times etc. Enjoy -- I think the Musee de l'Orangerie is even better since the restoration.
