Munich Restaurants and Internet Cafes

I'm going to be staying at a hotel in Munich that's near the train station in late November.

Can anyone recommend any nice restaurants that are nearby (less than $35 per person without wine or beer)?

I'd also like to find an Internet Cafe and possibly know what their rates are.

Thanks!

Your hotel front desk could most likely direct you to the closest Internet Cafe. I have always found them to be fairly inexpensive (in places are different as Switzerland, Paris, Mexico, Hawaii).

These are not internet cafes, but if you have your laptop with you and want to do wireless internet while having a coffee, check out this very up-to-date article: http://www.toytownmunich.com/archive/000881.html

How about a wonderful little place that's less than $35 pp with wine and beer?

Not especially near the train station, but I would hope you'll not be spending your entire time in Munich near the train station:

The EasyEverything internet center is right across from the train station. Rates differ depending on time of the day, but it is pretty cheap. Also, they have tons of computers, so no waiting.

There are a bunch of places--see Frommers or Fodors guides for names. We loved Donisl just off Marienplatz and the Neues Rathaus. It has great German food, beer and music for 10-15 Euro per person. Likewise, the Andechser am Dom (near Donisl) and the Old Hacker Haus on Sendlinger Strasse have very reasonable prices.

Try the Augustiner-Keller (52 Arnulfstraße) which is a 5 minute walk from the Hauptbahnhof (it should easily fit into your price range). I would also second the Donisl reccomendation (although I prefer the nearby Nurenberger Bratwurst Glockl Am Dom). There is an internest cafe inside the Hauptbahnhof (no idea what the rate are)

If you stay at the Hotel Uhland, a wonderful small hotel near the train station and the Oktoberfest park, they have free internet service for their guests, along with complimentary coffee, in a nice room off their lobby. It's a wonderful out-of-the-way yet still centrally-located hotel. We were there last June.
