Munich airport: best quiet corner to catch a nap

Ugh, that feeling you have after a night flight, just need an hour nap to be safe to drive to next destination.

Any quiet comfy nooks in the airport??

Nope. You need to stay on the airside.

There are Nap Caps available too if you don't have lounge access. But those are airside.

Kempinski Hotel has dayrooms available but when you see their price, you'll either opt to stay airside or take a nap in your rental car.

Sensible would be not planning anything involving skill and concentration on your arrival date if you don't plan on arriving alert and well-rested.

This is a great website and you might find a "sleep report" that fits your needs: http://www.sleepinginairports.net/li...l#.UxSTg_ldWSp

haha dfourh there's a website devoted to sleeping in airports??

Some overnight flights you get enough sleep, some not so much then always a traveling companion that will pass out if they don't get that nap.

Thanks sparkchaser for the airside tips. We won't set off an alert if we don't pass thru customs within a certain time after arrival?

The best way to take a serious nap are these cabins:

Unfortunately, I cannot find this information on the English side. But they exist. Minimum fee is € 30.

I found them in English by using a trick:
