Most romantic city and why?

Which European city is the most romantic in terms of atmosphere, ambience, food, music, and the like. Be specific!

FLORENCE, Italy--second vote. After all, the most romantic couple--Robert & Elizabeth B. Browning lived there.
PRAGUE, Czech Republic. Standing on the Charles Bridge at night is honeymoon romantic.
JUNGFRAU area of Switzerland. Natural beauty.

If this is a test, I had better start cramming. Are Cliff Notes available?

Juat returned from a trip that included Vienna and Amsterdam. They are both extremely romantic. With all the emphasis on Mozart and Strauss being played in palaces and at the spectaular opera, Vienna is a winner. On the other hand all the canals of Amsterdam offer spectacular opportunities for romance.

Until this trip though I might have said Paris. Of course back home there is always San Francisco...

Belinda hit it right on the nose - it depends who you're with. And the oddest, most mundane circumstances may be the best. You don't need a castle to feel special. What about running through a downpour in a big city with a metro-subway, hopping into a train and suddenly looking at each other in a sweaty, wet state and realizing it's just so romantic, baby??

Sevilla, Spain. The tiny, winding streets you can get lost in, the orange trees, the beautiful Moorish architecture and designs, the climbing flowers all over balconies and trellises, the wine, the tapas, the seductive guitars, flamenco dancing that is wonderfully sad, exotic and erotic, the passion, the heat...ahh, SEVILLA!

I agree with JAD. My latest favorite place in the world is SEVILLA, Spain.
My husband and I were just there in May and had an exquisite time! The whole experience was so movingm, I fell on my knees. I'm still in awe of its beauty and still dreaming of my Sevilla...
