I have to agree with the poster above, Berlin is not beautiful. Given it was flattened during WW II it has been rebuilt but alas not with great architecture but more modern. Paris on the other
hand was an open city during the war and thus escaped destruction.

he cities of Europe are beautiful in such radically different ways, I almost think people should be ashamed of themselves for participating in such an ignorant exercise. If you think only 10 cities or 20 or 120 cities of Europe are worth noting as "beautiful", you've an incredibly limited appreciation of beauty.

Maybe that is why I never find your postings attractive. Of over the course of my life I have spent at least 18 months in Europe, none as a student or on business. And a photograph of mine was chosen for an exhibit by a curator at the Guggenheim. (The exhibit was not at the Guggenheim, however.)
So, by citing three cities a life time of travel and interest in the arts has been undermined simply because Sandralist deems it so.

Geeze, people chill out! These top ten threads are fun and it gives people who want to travel to Europe an idea of what people consider are the most beautiful. Of course it's subjective, but as the number of respondents increase you will begin to see a trend as certain cities seems to make the list more often than not. This may help some people decide where to go.
