Morella from Barcelona?
DH and I are spending nine nights in Barcelona over New Year's. We would like to spend a couple nights out in the countryside. Morella looks absolutely gorgeous, but I am having a difficult time finding much information. Is it possible to take public transport there? Or should we rent a car? How long will it take to get there? I see the Cardenal Ram is highly recommended for accommodation--any other comments? I have basic Spanish skills... will it be difficult to get around and order a meal in a restaurant?
Thank you in advance for any advice!

Morella is in Castellon province, where I live
Yes , it's gorgeous !!
But it's not very good to go by public transport, you will have to go by train to Castellon, and then take a bus, too long. If you don't mind to rent a car, then you can go south from Barcelona till Peñiscola (another gorgeous place near from Morella, but at the coast) and from there go inside.
In the way, there is San Mateo, a quaint medieval village too
Cardenal Ram is a good place and don't worry about your Spanish skills , you will do fine
