More transporation help in San Francisco

We will be returning at night (10-11 pm) from Sausalito on Bus #80 to San Francisco. We will be staying at Bush & Powell Streets. There are only 3 stops on this bus in San Francisco: Golden Gate & Polk, Mission & 1st, and 8th & Folsom. Can someone help me to navigate how to get back to our hotel from one of these stops?

Suggest you re-post on the US board.

You're staying at the Cornell Hotel? The restaurant is our SF favorite.

Hi loves, you might try calling one or two of the taxi companies and see if you can make arrangements to have a taxi meet you at Mission & lst, if you know what time you will be there (and hopefully if the bus is not late). Anyway it wouldn't cost anything to ask. Have a fun time in SF!!

You probably figured it out already but Mission & 1st is closest, walk on 1st toward Market Street, cross Market, walk the short block on Sansome or Battery, Left on Bush, Powell is 5 blocks. Golden Gate & Polk is also possible, but the safest walk at 11pm is a longer walk--up Polk (north) 7 or 8 blocks, right on Bush 7 or 8 blocks.

San Francisco is totally saturated with bus and rail lines. Buy a muni passport and print out this:

Get on the nearest line that goes in the direction you want to, and change any time you feel like it.

Thanks for the advise. Yes, we are staying at the Cornell de France Hotel. They are throwing in a free dinner at the restaurant in the deal I made. We can't wait!
