And already the bluenose brigade have decided they're a bit too lifelike:

Can't say much since we had an AG that draped veils over statues!

Yes...but the new one is trying to drape veils over the voter's eyes!

That's very funny! The Gormley figures in the Australian desert are VERY well endowed (see below) but no one has tried to give them any clothes yet!

I was going to say that's because Australians would want to claim to be the model - but then I saw the pictures!

We were so excited when we heard about the exhibition the other day, that I instantly booked tickets and flights to London !

Not allowed access to Youtube - but do I gather the entry concerns the figures on the tops of buildings having clothing added ? We've visited Gormley's 'Another Place' on Crosby beach twice now (fabulous, well worth a detour) and the last time we were there, there were several amusing additions : one figure sported a pair of surf shorts, while several had hats and/or bracelets. And does the Youbtube entry refer to the Angel of the North's Newcastle United shirt ?

The youtube shows a Gormley figure being fitted with sort of trouser-nappies.

I assume the figures are anatomically complete (like some of the ones in the Australian desert), hence the perceived need for clothing...
