Montmartrobus

I am interested in taking the Montmartrobus and would like to find a written narrative of the neighborhoods or stops so I would have more details about the places I get off the bus. Anyone know if this exists?

It doesn't cover a huge area, it's basically Montmartre, so if you find a good guidebook or description of that, it should do. The Michelin Green Guide has some descriptions of those areas, as I recall. This is the map of the bus route, if you don't have it:

I think looking for a good guide to Montmartre would probably work better than focusing on something keyed to that bus' name.
If you can read French, here is a website that has a lot of detailed information on those areas.

Here's a very detailed history of the quarter

Here is one guidebook specifically for that area, which you can probably get online http://www.vangogh-paris.com/

It just goes up one side of Montmartre and down the other, between Pigalle and Jules Joffrin.

Hi dd,

If you look out the back of the bus as you go up from Pigalle, you will see the windmill.
