Montenegro Bus Travel
Hello,
I will be travelling in Montenegro for about one week this August, and am planning to visit Herceg Novi, Kotor, Budva, Bar, Podgorica and surrounding regions. I am planning to travel by bus. My question is regarding the bus system. Does anybody know if these intercity buses require advanced reservations? Or is it easy to show up at the bus station/stop, purchase a ticket, and find a seat on the next bus?

No reservation needed for local buses and minibuses on legs like
Budva - Kotor, Budva - Cetinje, Hercegnovi - Kotor - Budva, Budva - Bar, Bar - Ulcinj, etc.
For bus rides from Montenegro to Croatia, Bosnia or Serbia, it is preferable to buy the ticket ahead.
