Does anyone have recommendations of transportation between Montecatini di Terme and Florance.

I guess there is no train from Montecatini di Terme and Florance.

I have to mention that we are not planning to rent a car.

Why would you think there are no trains between Florence and Montecatini Terme?

There are quite a few, although they are all InterRegional trains, which are a bit slow. Still, it's about a 50-minute ride.

Go to www.trenitalia.com and enter "Firenze" as place of departure and "Montecatini Terme" as destination, and don't forget to change the date to a later one than the one given automatically and the hour to a morning rather than an evening (the clock is set on Italian time, which is six hours ahead).

A bus may be faster. Perhaps someone else will be able to help you with that.

You can also take the bus. I think it is called Lazzi, the same company that provides service to Lucca.
