Moderately Priced Hotel London central

For me it actually is concern Just like the first flat you mentioned -- properties aren't always where it 'says' they are. But never mind . . .

If it is this one (which I found by googling the description) it looks pretty nice.

Bed seems a bit small though. Even if it is not the one, it looks like something to keep on file for the future. (and there IS an elevator!)

Lovely studio and the balcony is a bonus -- Not sure I could cope with a Murphy Bed if traveling with someone else though. It seems the only storage is not accessible when the bed is down. Definitely larger and less expensive than a hotel room.

Janis’s, thank you. My thoughts exactly. My daughter and I have managed to be friends while she lived throughout the States. We speak daily. We certainly will enjoy our visit to London. The room is basically for hygiene and sleep. Coffee in the am. Wine at night. Seeing the incredible sights will be a joy. You have been so helpful.
can you pls tell me how to stop comments on this posting. It’s a lot for just the room. I’ll need to get back when we delve into the actual visit.

Just one more comment, I think the place looks great and you are so sweet to sleep on the sofa. My mom always offers to do that too. And we are totally "coffee in the AM, wine at night." I love your style! Do start another thread if and when you are ready for some tips for London.

This truly looks to be a bachelor style studio. My advice if you need a 'sofa' is to bring a 'Thermorest' bed roll and your own sheets. Not kidding.
Or book something else.

I agree with Sue_xx_yy that the landlord might not provide linens for what is obviously not a sofa sleeper. The couch does look like it might be enough to sleep on - less so if the end 'bolsters' are not removable. If he won't, and you are checking bags maybe take an old double/queen sized sheet with you (you can dispose of it if you don't want to schelpp it back home.)
