Missing Berchtesgaden/Salzburg?
I'm just vegging on a Sunday afternoon and stumbled on the following YouTube video:

Thanks! This is a great area of Germany.
We first did the Salt Mines in 1970 when I was in the US Army. We still get back to this area...last trip in June 2007. Again did the electric boats on Koingsee and again enjoyed the scenery.

Alrighty...I will write a trip report! Unfortunately I don't have the names of all the restaurants I ate at, but I'll try to fill in the ones that I did.
jgg, the food in that region is so good you almost can't go wrong! And if you like cheese, we discovered a wonderful cheese cart at the market in Salzburg where we picked up some delicious mountain cheeses.
