Milan Hotel

Any recommendations for a hotel for about $300-$400 per night? I have heard of Antica Locanda de Mercanti and Antica Locanda Leonardo??

We have just returned from a few days in Milan. We stayed in the Hotel Spadari Al Duomo and would recommend it. We had a superior room with a balcony which cost about 300 eu per night. Breakfast could be served in the room at no extra charge. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Oh the croissants were divine!

The Spadari Al Duomo is #1 on Tripadvisor and in my opinion, rightly so. I love that hotel!

wordsmith,

We stayed at Locanda Antica dei Mercanti in 2000 and were very happy with the location and everything else. Very tiny rooms and baths, but divine beds and linens.
Breakfast served in your room.

I stayed at Antica Locanda Leonardo in March 2007. The location is great on Corso Magenta, a historic street in Milan. We walked most places but took the subway as well.

The hotel is very nice and the owners helpful. The breakfast room is quite nice as well.

They were in the process of painting the courtyard walls of the hotel when we were there and doing some other renovations. They let us know about this before we booked. It wasn't a problem for us and they may done with the work by now.

It's a great little boutique hotel a block from Santa Maria Delle Grazie, home of DaVinci's Last Supper.

probably you won't have any use, but those with the tight budget will.
