The RATP site says they are very close.
Try www.multimap.com. Look up 'rue scribe'
It's about 1 - 2 blk, as Christina says.

It depends on which entrance you want. It's close, but there are many entrances to the Opera metro station and some of them are only for people who already have tickets (the entrance will say something about "muni de billet", I forget the exact wording). We did the Roissy bus thing once, plodded down the stairs of the closest Opera metro entrance, but had overlooked that sign and had to go back up and look for another entrance.
