Mercure Promenade des Anglais in Nice

Has anyone stayed at this hotel? If so, what did you think of it?

Since you're a "sage" of this site, is it fair to ask if you've checked places like France.com and venere.com? I suppose you have and so I'm useless because I've not stayed the the Nice Mercure.

Hope someone answers. This will top it.

Sal,

I only checked Trip Advisor; thanks for the other suggestions.

Sage? Moi?

Well, france.com isn't working tonight, and venere.com only seems to handle reservations, not comments. Any other suggestions?

Vous! At any rate, I had no trouble logging onto France.com but when I typed Mercure Promenade des Anglais in Nice into the Search window, nothing came up. I then went into a search in Nice and it was #73 on the list so it does exist . . . of course, you knew that. There were, unfortunately, no comments.

Venere.com didn't list the Mercure.

Have you tried a Google? That works sometimes. They pick up reviews people have typed for various forums.

Bonne chance!

I've already booked us for 2 nights at the Mercure PdA as a back-up in case the Euro is still very high against the dollar. I got a very good senior rate of 135€ for an ocean-front room. It won't be the Lapérouse, but oh well--we won't be in the room much. I checked the hotel out at the Accor Hotels web site, but of course it's always nice to hear comments from people who have actualy stayed in a particular hotel.
