Assuming that the renovation of Place de la République has been completed (it <b>should</b> be finished before then), the trade union march generally goes from République to Bastille in the afternoon.

It is Labor Day, it isn't really a "parade" in any sense of the word as it is used in the US. It's a march of workers to demonstrate.
