Marriott Rome Airport

I have the aweful 7 am flight out of Rome and was wondering the best/cheapest way to get to the airport at that unnatural hour (since your supposed to be there 2-3 hours ahead, which means between 4-5 am).

I found the Marriott Rome Airport location which claims to have a free shuttle. Does anyone have experience with this? Is it free? Will they run at 4 am?

Any other suggestions for getting to the airport at 4 am? I have seen some hired car services on this board which cost about 35 Euro from anywhere in Rome. It will be too early for the trains, which is unfortunate, I love public transportation.

Hi,
I am booked at the Marriott for an upcoming trip. They do have a shuttle but it's not free-6E pp. I e-mailed them for a direct reservation and shuttle confirmation. More info is available on their website.

6 Euro is still reasonable for how close it is to the airport. I looked at another hotel near there and you would still have to hire a car or cab for 35 Euro. Let me know how that goes.

We stay at the Airport Hilton. You can walk through a covered walkway to the airport and not have to think about a shuttle. Sometimes they have special rates that are non-refundable but would be covered with your travel insurance if you had to cancel. I paid either $180 or $200 US last year. They also have the free shuttle to Rome and back every two hours so you can spend your last day and evening there. It's also easily accessible to the train.
