I just hear that the new movie version of the Broadway hit Mamma Mia, starring Meryl Streep, was filmed on "small Greek islands". Can't find anything more specific so maybe someone with more knowledge than I have can help us all figure out more specific locations.

I am heading to Greece for the first time in Sept and am also interested in any other movies filmed in Greece that might "get us in the mood"!

"Shirley Valentine" is an oldie that was filmed on Mykonos, I believe. Pretty scenery.

Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants is having a sequel which is coming out sometime this summer I believe.

Normally, I'd wouldn't go see "Mamma Mia", but the cast is so amazing (Meryl Streep CAN sing), Pierce Brosnon is yummy and is brave trying to sing , Colin Firth - etc., it just looks FUN! And of course, I'll be able to soak in all that Greek scenery as Cindy says to "get in the mood" for upcoming trip in September.
