Malpensa italy hotels

We are flying out of Malpensa in September. Has anyone stayed in a reasonable hotel near the airport?

Thanks for your help

A few times that I flew in and out of MXP I looked for hotels near the airport and never found anything good. I think you are better off just staying in Milan and catching the airport shuttle van from the main train station to the airport.

And a very nice new hotel very close to Milan Centrale is Hotel Gonzaga, which you can find on venere.com, assuming there are no big fashion shows/trade fairs going on in the city, a double w/brft. goes for about 80E.

There are several hotels near MXP--the most reasonable is Hotel Cervo.

In July, we stayed at Villa Malpensa. Less than 5 minutes from the airport. Very nice, I would recommend it if it is in your price range.

In Aparil we stayed at Cardano Hotel, just a few minutes from Malpensa.

We arrived by trainin Milan, took the shuttle to Malpensa, and from there called the hotel. They sent their shuttle to pick us up.

The next day, the same free shuttle took us back the the airport.
