Mailing things to US from Athens airport

Hi:
Does anyone know if there are mailing/shipping facilities at the Athens airport to ship home souvenirs, etc? And if so, what are prices like?
Thanks,
Carol

There is a post office at the arrivals level.
Working hours are from 07:00 - 21:00 hrs , Sundays from 07:00 - 20:00 hrs
Tel : 210 3530561 & 210 3530562
I took a look at the official website of ELTA ( Hellenic Post) , and saw in the pricelist ( the website doesn't have an english version unfortunately) that the price for a 1 kg package is 25.95 Euro ( B priority) or 28,10 Euro ( A priority). ( to non european countries including the US - i assume you are not european)
I can imagine that A priority is faster.....

You might want to mail your stuff a day early so as not to be troubled on the day of your flight. There is a parcel post office just off Sindagma Square behind the main post office. I used it years ago. It was the best in Europe. If you have books there may still be a special rate like the M Bag at the USPS for printed matter, a.k.a. media mail.

Thanks for the info about the main post office.

I was actually thinking of mailing things back while we have several hours between leaving Greece and heading to Turkey, so I though we could take care of that at the airport.

I want to make sure we have enough room in our suitcases fot the goodies we'll buy in Turkey!!!

It will be hard to fit a carpet into your suitcase!! The Grand Bazaar is phenomenal. Haggle, haggle, haggle, h..., .... and so on.
