Magic Fountain Barcelona

Can you get to the Magic Fountain show with the Bus Turistic?

Where is the El Born area, and how do you get to it?

We are a group of women staying in the Eixample area, and do not want to take public transport. We will be using the Bus Turistic and taxis.

Thank you,
molly

The Maginc Fountain is Plaza Espanya. You can get there with the Bus Turistic South but the last departure from Plaza de Catalunya is at 7 pm in winter.
The Fountain shows are at 7 pm, 7.30 pm, 8 pm and 8.30 pm in winter.

El Born is the old Barcelona, roughly from Palau de la Musica to Santa Maria del Mar

I just walked there from the center - it is easy to find because you see the hill from far off (aim for right side, and look for escalators). Go early because the overall scene is interesting and there are a few comfy chairs you can snag right in front of the main fountain, if you stay ready to pounce on them when folks move. However do spend some time near the long line of fountains during the show too. It is a little harder to find your way back at night, and there is one stretch of bad neighborhoon midway... so females might not want to walk back.

taking a look at the bus turistic website and map will certainly help you get familiar for your trip.

If you google the name, you will see many many sites.. too many to list here.
