Madrid. We got back a few weeks ago. It was our first trip, we loved it! We were only there for 4 nights, but got out and about everywhere. We changed our schedule to late night early morning almost immediately. We did a few museums during the day, walked everywhere, used the metro and buses, even went to the race track (horses). We rented a great apartment from Spain Select on Calle Mayor which enabled us to buy food and relax between sightseeing and have some wine and do some people watching from the little balconies at the apartment.
At night we walked everywhere also with no problems. We went to the Populart nightclub and listened to some great music; Casa Granada restaurant for the 6th floor view; tapas at various little places, and the list goes on. I say yes to Madrid.
