Lunch at a Champagne house near Reims?

Do any of the Champagne houses near Reims have restaurants on site? Or nearby? DH and I are doing a day trip later this month and would love to eat at a winery like we did on our visit to Tuscany. Thanks!

Thanks, but I have tried doing searches and haven't come up with much. The Reims tourism office site even seems to be only available in French - I can't find the link for an English page. And I don't want to do a guided tour of wine country, we just want to do tours of the Champagne houses on our own and need to find a fun place for lunch.

I don't recall any of the champagne houses having restaurants on site. For a treat, have lunch at Les Crayeres in Reims. It is absolutely gorgeous.

The few that I have visited do not have restaurants on site. I emphatically second the idea for lunch at Les Crayeres.

Audrey...

Hi, I was just in Reims for a champagne tour and I think we asked at 3 different champagne houses if there was anywhere good for lunch nearby and they all said the same thing...take the bus or taxi to the town centre.

We didn't want to do that because we might have missed a reservation so we wandered around and went to this hole in the wall hotel/bar right across from Taittinger. We had curry chicken. Strange choice I know but it was delicious and served with homemade frites. It was also the only thing we could translate on the menu.
