Lucca hotel recommendations updated

DH and I will spend 2 - 3 nights in Lucca in September. The only similar message boards we've seen date back a few years, so we wanted to get an updated list of suggested hotels.
A high school classmate, with inlaw relatives in Lucca, has suggested Hotel La Luna. Does anyone have experience with that one? What about parking? Are there hotels that offer free parking nearby? or is everything outsite the walls? are all lots paid parking?

We have made reservations for this June at Il Seminario B&B, which is inside (but close to) the wall, not far from the train station. They have free parking for guests at a lot that is 100 meters away, outside the wall. It gets very good reviews on TripAdvisor.

What is your budget? I have stayed twice in Lucca , last time in summer 2009. First time I stayed at La Romea B&B, lovely B&B right in the center of town, serves a delicious breakfast. The 2nd time we stayed at hotel San Luca Palace. This hotel is pretty new, I believe it opened in 2007. I highly recommend either.

We stayed at Palazzo Alexander within the walls. It is a nice hotel with good service, subjectively reasonable (we paid 130 Euro for a superior room), good breakfast, and short stroll to all. They do have parking around the corner still within the walls, but it was additional 13 Euro/day.
