Yep, know Lauris quite well. My uncle-in-law lives not too far away. It's a great little village - with a very pretty old section perched up on a cliff overlooking the Durance River Valley. The more well know villages in the south of the Luberon (Lourmarin, Ansouis, Cucuron) are all easy drives as is Aix and points south.
Take care a bit with the particular location of the house as the stretch of the route which runs east-west just below Lauris is busy and noisy.

Do you have my 27 page Provence itinerary? E-mail me at [email protected] if you want a copy. We spent a day exploring that region last year and there's a driving route around there that I developed.
BTW, Kevin is a former Bay Area resident. He now lives in the Luberon where he & his wife run a B&B.
