Love Input -Dubrovnik-Korcula-Split trip this Sept
I am about 75% through planning our Croatia trip for this September. The structural bones are in place - but I would love to fill in with more stuff (without completely overscheduling things - which I have been guilty of in the past)
Any and all comments welcome and appreciated.

It looks ok to me. I wouldn’t attempt getting into Azur with no reservation. Maybe throw in a visit to the Buza bar (the one close to Azur. Not the one with a sign.) Taj Mahal is a great restaurant close to your lodging, but you also need reservations there. For lunch or very early dinner, you can try without.
also book Krilo in advance, they can sell out this time of year.

Thanks for the feedback. Understood on the need to advance purchase - reserve a lot of things.
Perhaps I am being naďve - but hoping the crowds will be substantially lighter in mid September (vs July/August). We are also hoping the temperatures will have moderated by that point

I was just in Croatia May/June and can comment on some of your restaurants. Now, as background, I'm allergic to fish, so that influences where we eat and what we like. Also, you pretty much must have reservations at least a day if not more in advance, especially on weekends.
In Dubrovnik we liked Kopun and Azur. Kopun got some large groups. Azur was smaller and tucked in some alleys. We had trouble finding it. Both are in a similar location.
In Split, sorry to say Portofino was just ok. We found the food in Dubrovnik better than Split, oddly. Aticok was pretty good but again not as good as the two mentioned above.
We only had a mediocre pizza in Trogir for lunch.
In Korcula, we had trouble finding a suitable place. Like you, we had an apartment but didn't want to cook. On our last night we found Pensatore Kitchen and Wine and thought it was one of the best meals of the trip, including a really nice truffle pasta.
One other food highlight, we struggled with breakfast but ice cream was everywhere and unlike what we are used to, shops open early, so ice cream for breakfast is an option.

In Split, I usually like to go to Fig but last time I was there, it wasn't as good. But I went at the very end of the season and I think they were pretty burnt out.

While in Korcula, look into Explorer Family Boat. The owner, Goran, will take you on a fabulous boat ride around the nearby islands and serve you an exceptional lunch. It was by far the best meal we had during our 2019 Croatia trip.
