On the brighter side, if you type "Wes Fowler" (without the quotes) into the text search box at the top of the page and press "find," more than 50 messages will appear from the archives.

Jody, the twenj.com site is not Wes', it's the fabulous site of the late Ed Gehrlein.

Jody, you're thinking of Ed Gehrlein who died about two years ago. His widow, Julie, has kept his website alive at www.trenj.net.

I am really sad to hear that Wes had left us. I only found out about this when I did a search here for Wes as we are going to Italy and needed some itenairies from him. He personally modified our trip to germany in 2001 to include kids stuff and we really enjoyed his itenairys which are always nice.

Our condolences to the family of Wes.

I'm sorry for his passing. I used to enjoy his postings but went on less to Fodors when the trolls took over.
