Looking for Copenhagen shuttle service
We are a group of 5 arriving in Copenhagen. Will spend 2 days before boarding cruise ship. 6 other friends will be joining us at the hotel.
Looking for a shuttle service to take the 5 of us into the city upon arrival,, and then take the 11 of us to the cruise ship 2 days later.
I have searched the Internet but can not find a shuttle service - do any Fodorites know of one?
I'm surprised this has been so difficult !!

I don't know if they have one. I have never noticed one.
I don't understand how you will be arriving into Copenhagen. Are you saying that you will arrive, by plane, and then board a ship 2 days later? If so, then there's a train right at the airport and is a very fast trip into Hovedbanegård (the main train station). From there, there are are plenty of taxis. It's very easy as once you go down the escalator, at the airport, then the train tracks are right there. Copenhagen isn't that big, so it shouldn't cost that much in a taxi, from Hovedbanegård to wherever your hotel is.

Why not taxis or the train? I've been to Copenhagen several times and have never noticed a shuttle service. I presume you mean something like a small bus or a large van. I'd ask your hotel if they know of a shuttle. As Guenmai posted, Copenhagen isn't that big.

Yes, 5 of us will arrive by plane and spend 2 days before boarding ship
6 others will meet us at hotel
I am fine with taking train or taxi to hotel, but as a group of 11 I wanted to hire a private vehicle to transport from hotel to ship
Will check with hotel to see if they can recommend
I know they do not provide any transportation (to/from airport)
Thanks

You'll probably end up in taxis. I lived in KBH, part of the year, for over a 20+year period and it was always public transportation or taxi. The taxis are quite nice as they are Mercedes.
Have fun.

I think you are right to contact the hotel to see if they recommend any company for the airport transfer.
I googled this one:
http://www.amagerobrotaxi.dk/page55676.html This taxi company does meet and greet at the airport and they are based in Amager which is the island that the airport is on. Although the website is in Danish, if you call or email them they will speak English.
If you take the train from the airport (Københavns Lufthavn, Kastrup) to the central railway station in CPH, yes in Danish it's hovedbanegård but the stop is called København H.

OK. I just read the Danish website and it basically says that Amagerobrotaxi started this Meet and Greet Service last summer. And what they do is, when they get notice that your plane has landed, then they send out the taxi service to be there to meet and greet you.
