London - Tube from Heathrow to Country Hall?
Hello!
My husband and I will be visiting London in 2 weeks! Can't wait! We will be staying at the Premier Travel Inn Country Hall and flying into Heathrow, arriving at 7:00 AM on a Saturday.
Can anyone help us with Tube directions to Country Hall? What is the best route? Which station would be best to get off at - Westminster or Waterloo? We will have our bags, but hopefully they will not be too heavy (trying our best) and we will be okay with walking a short distance
Thanks in advance for any help!

if walking 5-ish mins is OK -- then I'd take the Piccadilly line from LHR to Hammersmith station, step across the platform and get on an eastward District line train, and get off at Westminster station. You will be directly across the river from County Hall/the Eye.
Walk across Westminster bridge to your hotel - the views are amazing.
Aother option is Piccadilly line to Green Park and then Jubilee Line to Waterloo. But the change at Green Park requires a bit of a walk underground and then the short walk from Waterloo to your hotel. But this really isn't easier and isn't nearly as scenic.

County Hall is across the river from the Westminster Tube station. Here's the layout: http://journeyplanner.tfl.gov.uk/use..._46E56E4D4.pdf
The Tube will also get you to Waterloo, but this is the easiest:
Ride the Piccadilly Line to Hammersmith
Walk across the platform to the District Line
Ride the District to Westminster
Walk to County Hall
or take a 148 bus from Bus Stop H on Bridge Street
or any of 12, 53, 159, or 453 from stop G on Parliament Street (CH is the first stop on any of the buses)

Bear in mind that the Premier Travel Inn is at the other end of the building from where you get off the bus. Walk down the road between the riverside block of County Hall and the other similar blocks that also face on the main road.
The entrance is not very well signposted at a distance, as long as there are still leaves on the trees outside, so don't be surprised if you don't see it until you're practically on top of it.

My daughter and I stayed at the Marriott County Hall. I thought I was so smart reading the maps and going to Waterloo to walk to the hotel (with luggage which got heavier every step!). The streets curve in that area in such a way that we ended up lost and hopped in a black cab for what was a very short ride. After we got out and around, I realized that the Westminster tube stop was a MUCH better option and straight across the bridge in eyesight of the hotel.

I will be at the Premier Travel Inn County Hall from Sept. 23-26 with husband, mil and sil. I've stayed before and like it as a good priced, GREAT location place to stay.
Since we are a group of 5 and mil is 79 (though active) I did not want to do any slupping luggage!! So, we have contacted Just Airports (www.justairports) to pick us up and take us back. It if were just me and dh we would do the tube.
When will you be there?
