We spent 4-5 nights in Bruges and were not bored, enjoyed it far more than we did Ghent or Brussels

Sorry for the confusion John, we had 3 nights, but ended up wanting to add an extra night in Paris, which was decided after I wrote the post. thanks for your reply.
