Ferry Sorrento to Amalfi Coast
On Wednesday, June 25th my wife and I would like to take a Ferry from Sorrento to Amalfi Coast to do some sight seeing and wondering around. The only option I could find was this one from Alilauro leaving Sorrento at 10:30am and returning at 4:35pm.

Should I prebook this?
Are there better options available?
Looks like its 34€ per person. Is that a good price?

www.coopsantandrea.com is the other option, although I am not sure it is a separate service, as it also shows a 10:30 departure. No other ferry options that I am aware of. No need to pre-book before you get to Sorrento. You can always purchase the ticket the day before if you are concerned it will sell out.

That's the only one I can find on line as well. It seemed to me that the last time I was there (4 years ago) there was more than one per day in each direction but I don't really remember. That's the one we took. We did not pre book and there was plenty of room. We are going again this July and I don't plan to pre book. If you don't pre book and you decide you want to stay longer you can always take the bus back.
It leaves (heading back to Sorrento) from Amalfi first and then Positano so if you go to Amalfi first and take the bus to Positano you get an extra half hour or so.

I just found this option as well (Blue Cruise).

Seems for about the same price this ferry will take us to a few spots rather than just to AC and back. Only downfall is that my time in AC is limited to 2 hours rather than much more by just taking the normal ferry.
Has anyone taken this mini cruise before?

I did the mini cruise. I didn't like waiting around while people went swimming, but it would be fine if you wished to swim. I enjoyed more having time to walk around in Positano and Amalfi. Personal choice.

I guess I just need to decide if I want more time cruising around or more time on foot in AC.
What are some of your highlights from visiting Amalfi Coast? We can't do any crazy hikes but would love to walk around and embrace the area.
