London/Paris- Airport Transfer Options
Our daughter and family are off to London and Paris. They are 4 people with luggage and carryons.
What are the best options/cost for getting from London airport (LHR) to their hotel and also from Paris airport (CDG) to their hotel.
I'm thinking cabs would be a problem given the number of people and luggage unless there are van cabs at these airports.

Their two best options in London are a pre-booked car service or the tube (depending on where they are staying and if they can manage their bags). Check justairports.com
A Cab would not be a problem - but it would be VERY expensive. They cannot get a car service at the curb -- it must be pre-booked.
A cab is fine at CDG - there are mini van cabs and the taxi queue dispatcher will hail a large vehicle for them.
There are also shuttles - or the RER train, but really a cab is just as good, maybe better depending on where they are staying.

Yes, the best way to get from London to Paris is by train (Eurostar). It takes less time when you add in the trip from the city out to the airport, the 2-hour margin before the flight, the wait for the luggage upon arrival, and the trip back into Paris. And it's more convenient to go from city center to city center, with your bags close to hand.

yes - the Eurostar makes the most sense city center to city center -- by far.
But I assumed the flights are already purchased and we have to work w/ what we have.
(If, on the other hand, you haven't booked your tickets yet - -- let's talk
