Hi All ,

Need your help on this one day to trafalgar Square . I chalked down places to see there as I have one day to visit .
Trafalgar square :
St. paul cathederal
national gallery
natural history museum
british museum
tate modern
tate britain

Can you just help me on planning it on where to go first as I dont know about directions and what is close to what
Also , your kind help is appriacited if you can suggest me any othet places there to visit .

(I have already been to London eye , buckhingam palaca , big ben and piccadily)

It's a bit confusing. Are you in London for only one day, or are you wanting to allocate one day to each attraction.?
PTo begin with Trafalgar Square, the National Gallery is actually in the square.

St. Paul's is no where near Trafalgar Square...Westminster abbey is a fairly short walk away though....

Neither is the British museum nor Tate Modern or Tate Britain...

You can't possibly see all these major museums in one day.

The National Gallery is at the top end of Trafalgar Square, so obviously the closest. From there, take a bus or the underground to St Paul's. If you have time, see the Tate Modern as it's an interesting contrast and can be reached from St Paul's via a pedestrian bridge:

What I've outlined is a long day if you plan to actually see any of the building's contents. If you just want to see the outside of these buildings, frankly some really aren't that interesting.

Seriously, could you tour 5 major museums and one of the world's foremost cathedrals in your country's capital in one day?

Your list of places will take at least 3 days. Not sure why you are starting in Trafalgar square unless you have a tour that is dropping you off and picking you up that later.

If that is the case you need to tell us how many hours you actually have.

In any case covering two of those huge sights in a single day is a lot.

This and your other thread do indicate you don't realize how large London is and how long it takes to see/do things.

In one day you could manage:
St. Pauls cathedral & the British museum

or

The national gallery and the Natural History museum

or

Tate Modern and Tate Britain

or

St. Pauls cathedral & Tate Modern

or any duo/combination --- w/ maybe one more site tossed in if you don't spend too much time at each one.

Anything beyond two attractions among those, is impossible in a day. As janisj laid out, I'd pick the first option - St. Paul's and the British Museum. Read up on the museum to figure out which galleries you want to see and when is their particular sightseeing tour scheduled. This'll give you a good idea of when to see St. Paul's.
