London hotel- ? For Ira
Are you able to recommend a budget hotel in London for late Sept.? Bloomsbury or Kensington area. Budget is 90GBP,is that realistic? We just booked the Bonaparte in Paris for that part of our trip!

You could try priceline and just limited your hotel selection to these areas ... of course it is a gamble since you never know what you are getting. Check biddingfortravel.com if interested for bidding advice, etc. I've never used Priceline, but thought about it often.

I used Priceline recently to book a hotel in London for one night. I got the Thistle Charing Cross for under about $137.50, I think.
It's not in one of your two areas, but it's very central, near Trafalgar Square.

Oops -- sorry -- posted too early.
Was going to say that my backup choice was Garth B&B at 85 pounds a night. It's in Bloomsbury. I don't have any first-hand experience with this B&B.
I don't think that 90 pounds will carry you very far in London, but I'm not all that familiar with London hotels myself.
Personally I think that Priceline is the way to go for London. For the same price your alternative is probably a B&B.

90GBP is certainly doable.
There is frequent poster here who often recommends the Arosfa Hotel in the Bloomsbury area. If I recall correctly she describes the rooms as quite small but the stay to be a very pleasant one. Rates ran under 90GBP. I googled a website, tho I haven't looked at it:

I agree with 111op that Priceline is good bet in London if you're fine with the issues of 2 people per room and no guarantee on the bed configuration. 4 stars can be had for $75-$120 night. Definitely the way to go.
