This brings fond memories of my own meet-up with you all almost a month ago to the very day (Oct 26).
Wished I was back in London again with you all (it's a very snowy day over here today), but glad that a good time was had by all.

What a great Friday night in London! First GTG I have attended where the police were called. Kind of exciting that bikerscott broke a Tube line, too. Jamiekins may have been a bit harsh in punishing him for that by making him go home without a curry. Pity that as the food at Rajahstan was quite good indeed - so good that my SO had an Indian food epiphany and has now decided he likes it after all. That may owe something to the excellent dinner company provided by PatrickLondon, of course.
Pat, hope you are feeling better and BKP, hope your wee one is, too.
gtg, know that we remembered you and toasted you and SO.

P.S. to Jamie (and anyone else interested) forget Wahaca, get thy self to Lupita's for authentic Mexican. We stumbled on the place at Embankment just to the side of Charing Cross station about half way to Strand. Run by folks from Mexico City, and food was terrific, especially the carnitas and tacos al pastor.

So glad you all had a great time. My little one rallied yesterday for a Thanksgiving dinner with friends but is now spending another day on the couch with cartoons . . . hope he doesn't think he gets out of school tomorrow!

<<forget Wahaca, get thy self to Lupita's for authentic Mexican>>

Absolute truth. We've been a few times now and love it. Our go to Mexican in London was Crazy Homies out past Notting Hill, but Lupita's is so much more convenient for us, coming and going from Waterloo.

Julia-just saw that your daughter was graduating from Soton. I cannot believe that the past few years have gone by so fast since we last chatted about her going there on these threads, My daughter is moving from Southampton in December and I will be sad to see her move as I have some fav spots down there.

When is the next London GTG guys-I want to come!!!
