It is some sort of suet based sponge cake I think. I was going to try some but then I read that it was made with suet and that just sounded gross. The spots I believe are made of currants or sultanas (raisins). The custard part is probably just what it sounds. Bon appetit!!

Who has a dirty mind? You are the only one who has mentioned anything about it being "dirty", so you must be the one with the dirty mind. sss seemed just to be asking a simple question about a standard dessert. Who said it was anything dirty?<BR>
