London Apartment Rentals
Has anyone ever rented an apartment in London from "Refresh Accomodations?" They are asking for full payment up front, and I am a bit leery. We are a family of four looking at an apartment at 36 Draycott Place in London to rent for a week in late June -- anyone ever stay there? Any advice would be most welcome. Thank you.

I have no experience with that agency but have rented in Paris and Italy and we paid a deposit up front, and the balance within 6-8 weeks of arrival. I think paying everything now for a trip next June unusual--unless there is some kind of discount involved.
Maybe you can ask them for e-mail addresses of previous renters.

I have never heard of that agency/booking site. Doesn't at all mean they aren't legit, but it does mean they aren't one of the higher profile/well known sites.
Paying a substantial deposit this early is totally normal, but I've never (ever) had to pay in full 8 months out. Seems weird IMO.
That is a great location. However several other agencies handle the same properties so you might want to see if any have better payment terms.
Just google 36 Draycott Place and you'll find at least 4 or 5 different booking sites offer those flats . . . .
